Ashland man charged with repeated sexual assault of a child, child enticement

ASHLAND, WI — An Ashland man has been charged with three felonies after allegedly sexually assaulting a child.

Tony Lashbrook, 52, has been charged with one count of repeated sexual assault of the same child, as well as two counts of child enticement.

Lashbrook was arrested earlier this month after a woman came forward who claimed she was sexually assaulted from 2009 to 2010 while living in the area.

According to court documents, the victim says she was assaulted between the ages of 10 and 12.

Lashbrook’s next court appearance is scheduled for next week.

Police say he was a religious leader in the area, as well as a school bus driver.
