Preliminary hearing scheduled for Ashland man charged with sexual assault

ASHLAND, WI — A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for an Ashland area school bus driver charged with repeated sexual assault of a child.

Tony Lashbrook, 52, will next appear in court on March first.

Lashbrook was arrested in January after a woman came forward who claimed she was sexually assaulted when she lived in the area as a child.

Police say Lashbrook was a religious leader in the area, as well as a school bus driver.
