Duluth Police arrest man for allegedly seeking online sexual relationship with child

DULUTH, MN — A man was arrested in West Duluth for allegedly seeking a sexual relationship with a child over the internet.

According to the Duluth Police Department, the 57-year-old was taken into custody around 4:38 p.m. Tuesday.

Investigators from the Duluth Police Department Sex Crimes Abuse Neglect Unit and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested the man on counts of Solicitation of a Child to Engage in Sexual Conduct through Electronic Communication.

He was taken into custody without incident in West Duluth.

He’s currently being held at the St. Louis Counnty Jail. Charges have yet to be filed.
