Jury trial scheduled for men accused of killing Odanah man

ASHLAND, WI — Two men will now face a jury for allegedly killing an Odanah man.

Court documents show the trial for Brian Nelis, 41, and Michael Sweet, also 41, will begin on May 21st.

Court officials say a jury will be selected on May 20th.

The two men are charged with first degree intentional homicide for the death of Shane Cadotte in September of 2017.

Cadotte was a found near Bear Trap Road on the Bad River Indian Reservation, and was beat and stabbed to death.
