HERMANTOWN, MN — The Minnesota BCA says an investigation into a fatal officer-involved shooting in Hermantown is still open two months after the incident.

The incident, which involved Tim Majchrzak, 37, was shot and killed by St. Louis County deputies on May 4th after exchanging gunfire with deputies.

Officials say once the investigation is finished, they’ll present their findings to the St. Louis County Attorney’s Office, and they will decide if charges will be filed.
