Lincoln Park house fire ruled arson, woman still hospitalized

DULUTH, MN– A house fire in Duluth’s Lincoln Park neighborhood is being investigated as arson.

According to the Duluth Fire Department, the fire broke out Monday morning on the 2200 block of West Fourth Street.

As they arrived, they saw a woman jump from a second-story window. She is still in the Intensive Care Unit at a local hospital.

Two other people, a man and a girl, were able to safely escape through a back door.

Fire crews say three out of the four dogs were able to safely escape, however the fourth dog has not yet been found.

The cause of the fire is still unknown at this time, and is under investigation.

If anyone has any information regarding this fire, they are asked to call 1-800-723-2020. There is a reward of up to $5000 from the Minnesota International Association of Arson Investigators, to any information that could lead to an arrest.
