VIRGINIA, MN– Part of the St. Louis County Government Services Center in Virginia will open Monday after nearly 16 months of construction on the project.
The new building will be open to anybody seeking services from the Public Health and Human Services department.
Visitors are asked to access the building from the entrance on 3rd street.
Anybody that is seeking services from other departments that aren’t yet in the new building should continue going to the Northland Office Building, which is also in Virginia.
Staff from the other departments will begin to move into the new building next week.
There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the $19 million project once the old building is demolished later in the year.
