Anthony is an evening anchor for CBS 3 Duluth and grew up in Inver Grove Heights, MN.
Anthony has become a familiar face for viewers. He started with CBS 3 as a general assignment reporter in June of 2016, before becoming the evening anchor for the 6 and 10 o’clock newscasts in July of 2019.
As a reporter, he covered a little bit of everything the region has to offer. A good portion of his reporting time in the spring was spent at the Minnesota State Capital, covering the politics that impact the Northland. While he wasn’t covering that, he focused on a lot of city issues, municipal politics and covering crime.
While Anthony likes covering the stories that impact people’s day-to-day lives, he loves to tell the stories of the good people in the Northland.
As an anchor, Anthony believes getting out from behind the desk and covering the communities we work in is paramount. He says covering the region for three years as a reporter helps him make good decisions on the desk to bring the news that matters to our viewers.
Anthony attended Inver Hills Community College, and Middle Tennessee State University before graduating from St. Cloud State University in the Spring of 2016 with a Bachelors Degree in Broadcast Journalism. Upon graduation, he took his first job as a reporter in Duluth.
While going to school, Anthony spent his time working at a Caribou Coffee for nearly seven years.
During his time at Caribou Coffee, Anthony was able to make many close connections in the community as they had many different local business partners and community connections.
When he isn’t telling stories on the news, Anthony enjoys spending time with his wife, fishing, hunting and golfing.
