Hayward grad appointed to Washburn County judge

MADISON, WI — Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers has appointed a new Washburn County Circuit Court Judge following the retirement of Judge Eugene Harrington.

Governor Evers says Angeline Winton, who graduated from Hayward High School, will be the new Circuit Court Judge.

Currently, Winton is the district attorney for Washburn County, after being elected to the position in 2016.

Previously, Winton worked in private practice and served as an assistant district attorney for Washburn and Burnett counties.
