Anderson has served as a City Councilor for Duluth’s First District for four years, and says working with the people of the district to make sure needs are met and that the community thrives has been rewarding.
He says his campaign is based on the same three principles he first ran on in 2015 – people, planet and prosperity. According to Anderson, when all three are honored, a more sustainable and healthy life is available for all.
Anderson says municipalities like Duluth make a difference in people’s lives every day, such as the ESST ordinance, which will be enforced in 2020.
He also says he supports actions by the city to reduce the carbon footprint, such as investing in solar energy and switching to bio-fuel at the steam plant.
