Retired Duluth Fire Chief dies

DULUTH, MN — A former Duluth Fire Department Chief has died.

Officials with the Fire Department say Larry Bushey, who served at the Fire Department for 32 years as a firefighter, Fire Equipment Operator, Fire Captain, Marshal, and Chief, has passed away.

Bushey retired in 1993.

His sons, Bryan and Brad, have also served with the Fire Department.

Bryan served 32 years, and Brad has served 24 years so far.

According to Dougherty Funeral Home, there will be visitation at the Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12th.
