Grandma’s Marathon launches Halloween-themed race

SUPERIOR, WI – Grandma’s Marathon is launching a spooky new race to celebrate Halloween.

Registration is now open for the inaugural North End Nightmare 5K, which is scheduled for Saturday, October 26th in Superior.

It will take place during the North End Spooktacular, which is the largest Halloween event in the region.

The race is open to runners and walkers of all abilities, and participants are encouraged to dress up. There will be a costume contest after the 5K.

Early bird registration runs until September 14th. The adult price will increase to $30 on September 15, and to $35 on October 25th. The entry fee for kids (ages 6-14) is $15. with increased registration fees starting September 15th.

All participants will receive a North End Nightmare 5K hooded sweatshirt. All kids in the Spider Dash
will receive a commemorative mummy tote bag.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Young Athletes Foundation.
