GoFundMe created for construction flagger hit by car

DULUTH, MN– A GoFundMe has been created for an Ashland construction flagger who was hit by a car in late August.

Ashland Police say they have handed the investigation over to the WI State Patrol. At this time, police say they don’t know the flagger’s condition.

Authorities say a 77-year old driver passed a line of vehicles stopped by the flagger, and then hit the victim with his vehicle.

The investigation is still in progress, which will determine if there are potential charges for the suspect.
