Duluth’s Carr’s Hobby closing

DULUTH, MN — After 60 years, a hobby shop in Duluth’s Lincoln Park neighborhood is closing its doors.

According to its website, Carr’s Hobby Shop, which is owned by Jack Carr, will be closing its location on West Superior Street by November.

The store has model trains, radio controlled cars and planes, rocket kits, model kits, kites, decals, paints, tools, and other items used by hobbyists.

CBS 3 Duluth has reached out to the store owner to find out why the store is closing, but has not heard back.
