Red flag warning issued for Duluth’s Park Point

DULUTH, MN — Anyone who would want to head to the beach Wednesday is being asked to stay out of the water.

The Duluth Fire Department has issued a red flag warning for the Park Point area, meaning conditions are right for rip currents.

The warning is issued for all day Wednesday, and expires at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Currently, there are no lifeguards at Park Point, and swimmers are asked to stay out of the water, no matter what your swimming experience is.
