Chase Vogler returns to UMD as offensive coordinator

On Wednesday afternoon, Chase Vogler was officially introduced as the UMD Bulldogs brand new offensive coordinator.

Vogler is likely a familiar name as he started four seasons with the bulldogs from 2009-2012. Following graduation he coached at UW- Stout. His goal was always to end up back where his college career began.

“Obviously it was always a goal of mine to get back here at some point whether it was this year or down the road. No matter what level you’re at you’re going to put your time in. Whether it’s in season and you’re recruiting. The one thing you learn is that there is no off-season. You’re going to go and go and go and you’re going to recruit and recruit and recruit and you’re goal at the division three level is to put the best program in front of you and put the best stuff out on the field. Obviously here it’s the same thing,” Vogler said.
