St. Cloud Cathedral tops Greenway 5-2 to capture Class A State Title

St. Paul, MN- The Greenway boy’s hockey team fell just short of capturing the Class A state title on Saturday, falling to St. Cloud Cathedral 5-2 at the Xcel Energy Center.

Donte Lawson and Cameron Lantz would score the goals for the Raiders.

Lawson was named the Class A Herb Brooks Award winner.

Cathedral would break the game open in the 2nd period, scoring twice to give themselves a 4-2 lead.

Greenway finishes the season with a record of 17-14.
