St. Paul, Minn. — A sold-out crowd of 19,600 welcomed the back-to-back world cup champion U.S. women’s national team on Tuesday night. It was the third stop for the team on their Victory Tour.

Team captain Carli Lloyd scored two out of the team’s three goals in the 3-0 shut-out over Portugal. It was Lloyd’s 20th career multi-goal game.

It was also head coach Jill Ellis’ 105th career win in charge of the team, a mark that ties her with the late great Tony DiCicco for the most in program history.
