SUPERIOR, WI — Barron County District Attorney Brian Wright says, after reviewing the investigation of an officer involved shooting in Superior, there will be no charges filed against the officers involved.
Officers shot Joshua Farmer on October 5th of this year.
In a release issued by Douglas County District Attorney Mark Fruehauf, Wright reviewed reports from Superior Police Officers, Farmer’s medical records, photos, diagrams, and bodycam and dash cam footage.
In addition, it says Wright personally viewed the shooting scene.
Wright concluded the officers’ use of force was legally justified.
Farmer is being charged with three counts of threats to law enforcement officers, one count of obstructing an officer, and one count of retail theft.
