UPDATE: Rollover, 4-car crash slows morning commute on I-35

DULUTH, MN — The morning commute on I-35 in Duluth was slowed Thursday after a rollover crash near Mesaba Avenue.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a woman was taken to the hospital for minor injuries after her vehicle rolled in the southbound lane.

Meanwhile, a 4-vehicle crash in the same area in the northbound lane also caused minor injuries.


9:30 a.m. — A CBS 3 Duluth photographer says crews have cleared the scene of a crash on NB I-35.

Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash, which was just off of the Mesaba Avenue exit.

A tow truck was spotted on the scene, as well as multiple State Patrol squad cars.

8:20 a.m. — Traffic is backed up I-35 following a crash Thursday morning.

A multi-car crash between the Mesaba Avenue exit and the 5th Avenue West exit on northbound I-35 has caused traffic to slow in both northbound and southbound lanes.
