The fundraising campaign for Jayme Closs and her family has reached its $50,000 goal in less than a day.
The Facebook fundraiser was started by Anna Cannard and Audra Bennion, with permission from the family, and had an original goal of ten-thousand dollars.
According to the page, the funds raised will be turned over to Jayme’s legal guardian to support her in the difficult road to recovery.
Cannard says even though the facebook fundraiser has reached its goal, you can still go to any Sterling Bank and reference the Closs Family Benefit Fund.
Jayme’s cousin Angela has also started a Go-Fund-Me page to continue raising money.
