FARGO, ND — I-94 is one of several highways still closed in parts of North Dakota after a blizzard moved through the area earlier this week.
The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is working to clear I-94 between Bismarck and Fargo of the heavy drifts.
Officials say the area between the Jamestown and Buffalo interchanges were hit the hardest, and say they anticipate it will be several hours to clear the drifts in order to make the roadways passable.
At this tme, all of the vehicles which were stuck on the interstate have been removed.
Everyone is asked to stay off the roadways until they are open, and a no travel advisory is still in effect for the southeast part of the state.
