Over 30 coyote carcasses found dumped, skinned in Bayfield County

MOQUAH, WI– The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is investigating after dozens of coyote carcasses were found dumped and skinned in Bayfield County.

Bayfield Conservation Warden, Amie Egstad says over 30 carcasses were found on private property in Bayfield Counties Fish Creek along  Old US Highway 2 in the area of Moquah, which is just west of Ashland.

She reports all but two of the bodies were found skinned.

If you have any information on who dumped the carcasses you’re asked to contact the Wisconsin DNR by texting or calling 1-800-TIP-WDNR or contact Amie Egstad directly at 715-209-7615.
