Moose Lake voters reject outdoor facilities referendum

MOOSE LAKE, MN — Voters have decided to reject the “Complete Our Campus” plan in Moose Lake, which asked for more than $6.5 million to complete some outdoor facilities.

The plan, which was made of two questions, had the first question rejected by a vote of 648-403.

Voters saw two questions on their ballot, one asking for $3.9 million to be used to upgrade and add some sports fields, to add an Early Childhood playground, and add additional parking.

A second question, which was contingent to question one, asks for $2.7 million to add outdoor lighting for sports events, as well as upgrades to other sporting areas, and adds parking.
