Keith Musolf and current Hermantown Mayor Wayne Boucher have advanced to the special general election for the county’s fifth district seat, which is scheduled for August 13th.

Boucher and Musolf received 30% and 28% of the vote, respectively.

The election is being held due to former Commissioner Pete Stauber’s election to Congress.
