Diocese of Duluth holds special Blue Mass for law enforcement

DULUTH, MN– A special service was held Wednesday morning to honor law enforcement.

The Diocese of Duluth held its annual “Blue Mass” at the Cathedral of our Lady of the Rosary, and Bishop Paul Serba blessed different squad cars, and allowed community members to have an opportunity to thank law enforcement and their families

“What’s under the 4th commandment, boys and girls, is that we also honor lawful authorities. those who have the right to help guide us, keep us safe, and love us. So that in our bigger communities we can live in peaceful harmony,” said Serba.

People of all faiths attended the service.
