UPDATE: First Chester Creek concert of the season canceled due to weather

DULUTH, MN– UPDATE 4:13 p.m. — Due to predicted thunderstorms, city officials have canceled Tuesday night’s concert featuring Whiskey Trail.

The next concert will feature Eira, a trio/quartet that performs music from around the world, on June 18th.

Chester Creek is set to begin one of it’s popular events for the 37th season.

The Chester Creek concert series is slated to begin Tuesday June 11 at 7 p.m., with Whisky Trail performing. Whisky Trail is a country band from Duluth.

The concerts will be held every Tuesday throughout the summer at 1801 East Skyline Parkway beginning at 7 p.m., but the August 6 and August 13 concerts will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The concerts are free, and guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs.

A concession stand will also be available as well.

A hotline has been set up in order for guests to confirm weather-related announcements, as well as a look at each week’s lineup.
