Duluth man injured while cliff diving near Gilbert

GILBERT, MN — A Duluth Man was injured Monday while cliff diving at the old Genoa Mine Pit near Gilbert.

The injury was reported at around 5:00 p.m.

According to Gilbert Police, the man suffered severe injuries to both legs.

He was transported from the remote area by an ATV rescue trailer, then airlifted via Lifelink to a Duluth hospital.

Multiple Iron Range emergency agencies responded

Gilbert Police are investigating.
