CASS COUNTY, MN– Two people were injured when they hit a deer while riding a motorcycle.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports deputies were called to rural Motley shortly after 2 p.m. Sunday.

Whey they arrived, they found the motorcycle was heading west when it hit the deer, causing the driver to lose control and hit several trees while going off the road.

The driver, a 68-year-old Pillager man, was taken to a Brainerd hospital.

Authorities say the 74-year-old female passenger, also from Pillager, was flown to a Twin Cities hospital with serious injuries.
