Larson, Nolle advance in Duluth’s mayoral race

DULUTH, MN — We now know who will be on the general election ballot for Duluth Mayor.

On Tuesday, voters chose incumbent Emily Larson and challenger David Nolle to advance in the race.

Larson received 66.87 percent of the vote with 5,225 votes, while Nolle received 12.7 percent of the vote with 992 votes.

Incumbent Emily Larson has been Mayor of Duluth since January 2016, after receiving 72 percent of the vote in November 2015.

The election for Duluth Mayor will be held on November 5.
