DULUTH, MN — St. Louis County landed on a national list but not for a good reason.
The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy added 13 counties to its High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas program.
Among them are St. Louis County and Olmsted County in southeast Minnesota.
Being added to the list means the counties get funding to coordinate federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies.
The goal is to find and stop drug trafficking in the area.
