Man recovering after crash involving allegedly stolen vehicle in Duluth

DULUTH, MN — A 58-year-old man is recovering from serious injuries after a crash in Duluth involving an allegedly stolen vehicle Thursday.

Duluth police say they responded to a two-vehicle crash on Grand Ave. near 70th Ave. W around 1 p.m Thursday afternoon.

Authorities say a stolen vehicle, being driven by a 29-year-old man was driving westbound on Grand Ave. when the driver crossed into the eastbound lane, hitting the 58-year-old.

The 29-year-old was treated for minor injuries. He is facing several charges, including vehicle theft and driving after revocation, according to police.
