The first of a few low pressure systems brought rain today but will migrate away tonight. However, during the evening, a 70% chance for even more rain will persist. A third to three quarters of an inch of rain has fallen in many towns already. Low temps will be 37-45. The wind will be SE 5-15 in MN and SW 5-10 in WI and MI.
We’ll be in between lows so even if there is no rain, the sky will stay mostly cloudy to overcast. High temps will run 48-54 by Lake Superior and place 57-62 inland. The wind will be WNW 5-15 mph.
Another low pressure moves in and brings a 60% chance for showers and thunderstorms, too. Morning low will be 43 and the cloud cover will hamper the high temp so it may only get to 56 which is at least five degrees cooler than normal.
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND:
High air pressure takes over from the lows on Saturday and that means a partly sunny sky with a low of 48 and a high of 65. Sunday should be partly cloudy with a low of 45 and a high of 68. Memorial Day Monday should be partly cloudy with low 42 and high 59. That should be good weather for the parade on Grand Avenue near the noon hour. Next Tuesday get a fresh rain shower chance.
