Heat & humidity coming to call for the week ahead

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

FRIDAY NIGHT & SATURDAY MORNING:

An area of high pressure is moving in and that will chase away the low that brought Friday rain to Wisconsin and the U.P.  It will clear out the sky and calm the wind, too. Low temps will be 52-57 in MN and 55-60 in WI & MI.  The wind will be NW 5-10 mph.

SATURDAY:

The high slowly moves southeast so the sky will be mostly sunny across the area. High temps will be 77-83 in WI and MI.  They will be 80-84 for inland MN.  Lakeside temps will run 69-78.  The wind will be W 5-10 in MN and N 5-10 for WI and MI.

SUNDAY:

A warm spell will begin with both heat and humidity going up.  A small low and the heat of the day will contribute to a 50% chance for showers and thunderstorms.  Low temp will be 60 with highs near 85.

MONDAY:

Monday should be toasty with most towns running 85-90 for high temps after lows near 65.  A 30% thunder chance will linger.

MIDWEEK:

Tuesday should be partly cloudy with low 65 and high 85.  Wednesday wil have a 50% storm chance with low 63 and high 79.
