Storms fade away Monday night, calmer weather on Tuesday

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

MONDAY NIGHT:

Severe storms rumbled across MN in the morning and across WI in the afternoon.  Towns in WI and MI do have a chance for redevelopment of storms in the evening.  Low temps will be 53-58.  The wind will be NW 5-10 mph.

TUESDAY:

A cell of high air pressure will bring us a mostly sunny to partly cloudy sky.  High temps will be 80-85 inland with 75-80 more likely by Lake Superior.  The wind will be WNW 5-15 mph.

WEDNESDAY:

Already by early Wednesday morning, scattered showers and thunderstorms will return from a small low to the southwest that will migrate through our region during the day.  The rain chance is 30%.  Wednesday low will be 60 with high of 75.  That drop in temps may linger for a while.

THURSDAY AND FRIDAY:

High pressure will bring plenty of sunshine to end the week with just a few clouds. Thursday will be partly cloudy with low 52 and high 73.  Friday will be mostly sunny with low 51 and high 75.  Next weekend will be partly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 70’s
