Increasing Wednesday night clouds may lead to Thursday night rain

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

WEDNESDAY NIGHT:

The high pressure that brought sunshine for most of Wednesday will move southeasterly Wednesday night and allow a low from the west to make things mostly cloudy.  Cloudy, yes, but perhaps not rainy quite yet.  Low temps will be 48-53.  The wind will be SW 5-10 mph.

THURSDAY:

We’ll start the day with partly cloudy to partly sunny conditions but clouds will continue to increase as a wave in the jet stream attached to that western low pressure approaches. The chance of showers and storms is 30%-40% late Thursday afternoon and increases to 40%-50% Thursday night and early Friday morning. The wind will be SW 5-10 mph. High temps will be 72-77.

FRIDAY AND THE WEEKEND:

We’ll see the chance of showers and thunderstorms lingering into Friday, but the chances diminish Friday night as the low moves out. Another low pressure will move towards the area for the weekend, but models are now differing on the timing, so I am keeping the rain chances at 30% chance under partly cloudy to partly sunny skies. Highs top out in the upper 70s to low 80s. Lows fall back into the mid 50s to low to mid 60s.

EARLY NEXT WEEK:

The beginning of next week looks decent as of now with mild temperatures and partly cloudy skies. An isolated shower or storm is possible Tuesday. Highs top out in the upper 70s to mid 80s. Lows fall back into the mid 50s to low 60s.
