TONIGHT:

Tonight, showers and thunderstorms will continue to weaken and taper overnight. Mostly cloudy conditions with low temperatures in the mid to low 50s, Duluth nearing 55 degrees. Winds out of the west at 10-15 mph.

SUNDAY:

A trough will move in over Duluth for the day on Sunday so we could see a brief shower or two. Otherwise partly cloudy skies with high temperatures cooler in the upper 60s, Duluth hitting 67 degrees. Winds will also be pretty breezy out of the west at 10-15 with gusts up to 25 mph.

MONDAY:

Happy First Day of Fall! High pressure builds in for the day and we’ll see mostly sunny skies. High temperatures will be in the upper 60s, low 70s.  Winds will be from the northwest at 5-10 mph. Mostly clear skies Monday night with lows in the low 50s.

TUESDAY:

Tuesday starts off with some sunshine in the morning hours, as our next system begins to approach. A shortwave will allow us to warm up a bit into the low 70s, Duluth at 71 degrees. Clouds will increase into the afternoon with the chance for showers into the evening at 30%.

LOOKING AHEAD:

Wednesday we see a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms, with cooler temperatures as the cold front moves through. Highs will only reach into the low 60s. Thursday we dry up with sunshine and cooler temperatures remain. Our next rain chance arrives Friday into the weekend, with gusty winds. Temperatures stay on the cool side with upper 50s and low 60s.
