A quiet and cooler night this evening with partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will be in the mid to low 50s, Duluth nearing 51 degrees. Winds will be calm out of the west at 4-6 mph.
Happy First Day of Fall!
High pressure builds in for Monday bringing sunny and dry conditions. High temperatures climb into the low 70s with winds out of the west northwest at 5-10 mph. Monday night we see mostly clear skies and lows drop to 50 degrees.
Tuesday starts off with some sunshine in the morning hours, as our next system begins to approach. A shortwave and southwest flow will allow us to warm up a bit into the low 70s, Duluth at 72 degrees. Clouds will increase into the afternoon with the chance for showers into the evening at 30%.
Wednesday lingering showers will persist into the afternoon before moving out. Cooler temperatures move in though as the cold front comes across the Northland. Highs will only reach into the upper 50s to low 60s. Skies clear into Wednesday night and temperatures drop into the upper 30s and low 40s.
We see a brief break in the rain for Thursday as a weak high pressure builds in for the day. Partly cloudy skies with high temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s. Clouds will start to increase heading into Friday ahead of our next system.
Friday we see a 50% chance of rain showers through the afternoon which will linger into Saturday. Fall like temperatures stick around to finish out the week, with temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s. A rainy pattern also sticks around with more chances of showers Sunday into Monday.
